Other HCPC Publications
The HCPC publishes a quarterly magazine: Unit Dose Alert. We sponsor an annual Symposium
on Patient Compliance, present an annual Compliance Package of the Year
Award, and offer a Certified Compliance Packaging program (please see below).
Based outside of Washington, D.C., the HCPC is also active in legislative
and regulatory issues. We sponsor research, fund an annual scholarship program
for schools of packaging around the country, and hold an annual Full Membership
meeting.

of papers distributed during the 12th Annual HCPC National Symposium on Patient
Compliance (May 4-5, 2004) are still available at $75.00 per copy.
The HCPC
Certified Compliance Packaging is awarded to pharmaceutical
packaging that has met a demanding set of criteria for compliance packaging,
and has been certified by an independent testing lab. Use
of the HCPC Seal shows a commitment by pharmaceutical manufacturers to dispense
their products in packaging that is known to help people take the medication
as prescribed.
